Our History
Main Areas of Production Activity:
Manufacturing and distribution of medical devices to healthcare institutions of Ukraine:
- Skin substitutes (xenoimplants) — for the treatment of patients with burns and wounds of non-burn etiology
- Silicone plates — for use in the prevention and treatment of scars
- Keratoxenoimplants — for therapeutic keratoplasty according to medical indications
- Lyophilized resorbable xenomembranes — for use in dental practice (treatment of gingival recession, dental implantation, etc.)
- Dietary supplement in capsule form — for detoxification and as a source of natural components: peptides, amino acids, macro- and microelements, nucleotides, growth factors, and more
These medical devices are included in the State Register of Medical Devices and are approved for use in healthcare institutions of Ukraine.
Key Stages of Organizational Development
1993 — Founding of PE “Combustiolog”
1993 — Registration of the medical device: lyophilized porcine skin xenoimplants
2002 — Receipt of the trademark certificate for goods and services, issued by the State Department of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine
2003 — For a body of work on the development and implementation of new methods of diagnosis and early surgical treatment of deep burns and their consequences, the Director of PE “Combustiolog,” Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Bigunyak V. V. was awarded the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology
2004 — PE “Combustiolog” became a laureate of the All-Ukrainian Product Quality Competition “100 Best Products of Ukraine”
2006 — Registration of the medical device: silicone plates
2008 — Re-registration of the medical device: porcine skin xenoimplants
2011 — PE “Combustiolog” transferred the authorization for manufacturing and re-registration of medical devices to LLC “Institute of Biomedical Technologies” (LLC “IBT”)
2011 — Registration of the medical device: keratoxenoimplant
2012 — Re-registration of lyophilized xenoimplants and silicone plates
2017 — Implementation of a quality management system, under which medical devices were certified for compliance with the requirements of DSTU ISO 13485:2005; EN ISO 13485:2012
